When the Princess Wed Her Prince
Saturday October 26th 1968

Reflecting on our years of marriage and celebrating the Princess and her Prince on the day they said,
We do, Love each other, With all our hearts.
Creating the ‘Possible Dream’

My Mother Ruth took this picture in our Stewart family home
709 Connaught Street Victoria, B.C.
My last look at the twenty-one year old maiden, Victoria Princess Crown as part of my wedding veil.

Pondering the yellow roses from my Prince Maarten.
He sent me yellow roses after our first date.
Five months later we would be married.

On my Father Bill’s arm as we arrived at Centennial United Church 6:45 p.m.
Mother Ruth Ann Anderson Stewart in her beautiful pink dress and hat she designed and made.

The joy and celebration of family and friends has continued throughout our

We feel blessed and grateful.
There is a Scottish Toast that I have personalized
‘Here is to us
And dam few of us
All the rest are dead
But looking on us lovingly’
Love is Forever and always in our hearts.
